Why Terms and Conditions
I seriously don’t even know what to write here.
Lawyers say we should have a terms of service page.
“All the big companies have one. They protect you from frivolous lawsuits. Unless of course someone sues you anyways, just because they want to. Which is actually the definition of a frivolous lawsuit. But if that happens, just hire us at $500 per hour and we’ll take our sweet time handling it. Shouldn’t cost more than $50,000 tops.”
Um yea, lawyers. That’s why we’re here.
Ok, so let’s have at that Terms of Service stuff.
The “Common Sense” Description of our Terms of Service
The information on this website is not intended as medical advice. Always check with your doctor before doing anything that could adversely affect your health.
The information on this site is for informational purposes only. That’s what makes it information. It’s not medical advice. Always check with your doctor for medical advice. They’re a doctor. They went to medical school. And just to be clear, that’s a lot more than “they read a couple of articles the other day”.
Seriously, don’t do anything stupid.
If you think you may have a serious medical condition, don’t just strap on some compression socks and forget about it. Get yourself to the hospital!
Or if it’s less urgent, at least schedule an appointment with your family doctor to get checked out.
We want to keep you healthy. That’s the whole point of this site. So help us help you (god that sounds corny) and don’t do anything stupid.
